Does this cafe have WiFi!?
Lovely and cozy place..
Great espresso drinks and regular coffee. Good addition to the neighborhood. Nice to sit outside in nice weather. Not so big so it can be tough to get a seat.
MoreHad lunch. Penne Rigatonni were superb. However, when we asked for some bread to go with it, we were charged for 3 slices of bread. Given that the dish was already 20, I was disappointed by this.
MoreOverpriced for what it is. Quaint, but that’s about it. Crowded. Coffee not that great.
MoreI can feel the waitress not welcome Asian in the cafe. You can see her treat those whites like a family but a stranger to Asian. The food is ok, I don’t have a taste so it’s hard to say.
MoreExcellent and quiet spot on the upper west side. The service is good. The food is great! I had the goat cheese panini and it was creamy and delicious! (Thought it’ll be too dry but not at all!). Will be back again!
MoreA little overpriced food but a cute café
Great service, great food! It's my favorite place in that neighborhood.
Lovely. Done with delis and looking for healthier and lighter meals. Found it here. Delish! Our server was outstanding .
MoreSoup was delicious salad okay & great Customer service.
I love stopping j. For quick pick me up. Everything is baked or cooked fresh everyday. Big windows and outside seating for warmer months. Free WiFi. Perfect for a remote worker like me. The owner is a family man and personable. Makes it feel like the place you belong not the place you visit.
MoreI’ve been here many times before as I live in the neighborhood but the last two times I went I had horrible experiences. Yesterday, I sat outside and had been ignored for ten minutes until I went inside and asked if I could order outside. Today, I sat inside and the guy who was working did not greet me nor did he ever came to my table to ask if I wanted to order something. Another couple walks in, he walks up to their table and takes their orders. I left the place after literally 25 minutes of not being asked once if I want to order something. By the time I left, the couple next to me had finished their coffees and we’re halfway done with their sandwiches. This is how you loose repeat customers.
MoreI liked avocado toast, but very rude staff.
One of the few Gems on the uws
Great place to hang out and they have good coffee. At times the service can be a turn off, it really depends who is on shift and working that day.
MoreReally good food and sunny atmosphere. Try their version of Eggs Benedict- you won't be disappointed. Great place for brunch.
MoreFood is really good! Love the location! Although, you will be waiting for a long time to put your order. And, need to be looking for the server to if you need anything.Other than that the place is amazing.
MoreVery peaceful cafe with artsy + cozy vibe. I had the salmon panini and really enjoyed it. I have 2 issues with this place 1) way too expensive for what it is, 2)the floor was really dirty and gross. Otherwise good location for studying or conversation. Will come agaib
MoreLove Earth Cafe! Sweet place with good coffee!
At 3:30 in the afternoon this place had surprisingly good fresh coffee. Earth Cafe is a nice place here on broadway that you can sit inside or outside. The barista was friendly and I’ll definitely hang out here and use up their free WiFi and drink delicious coffee. #kingofcoffeenyc #sankofatafari #lionofthebx #coffeenyc #coffee ##nyc
MoreCozy friendly good cafe food with coffee, tea, wine and beer. Great for people watching.
MoreI really enjoyed the ambiance! Very nice and cozy. I was amazed of the quality of their dishes and even their wine selection. Very versatile... you can go for a nice morning coffee and a croissant to the early or late appetizer. 👌👌👌👌
MoreCustomer service is great. Had the oat milk latte. Made very well. Food unfortunately lacked a ton of flavor. Had the shakshuka and was not impressed at all.
MoreI have no doubt that this restaurant is great. Yet all I did was want to look at the menu. Yet this google doc web page thing you have going on doesn’t even allow one to move pass the page. Even after verifying that I have a google account. Make a free website on another platform. You don’t want to deter guest away.
MoreVery poor service. We were kicked out at 09:25pm when the actual closing time published on Google is 10:00pm. Apparently the owner has a webcam or something and he/she gives the staff directions to close the place whenever he/she feels like. I guess two customers are not enough to keep the store open until its actual closing time.I hope this review succeeds in bringing this issue to the owner's attention and prevents it from happening to other customers; who I for one will not be recommending this place to.
MoreCute place with a pleasant atmosphere, outdoor seating, and friendly service. Has a reasonably-sized food and drink menu that is not unreasonable in price for a semi-sit-down cafe. Nonetheless, with their prices I would expect the place to be better renovated and cleaned than it is. Playlist didn’t exactly suit the vibe of the place for me and a few plants at “Earth” cafe could help.
MoreVery cute café! I ordered the açaí bowl and loved it
Very cute atmosphere. Especially in the warmer months with the outdoor patio.
It's a busy spot with outside sitting. The food was pricey but good. The only thing that kind of surprised me they did not have any gluten free bread or bagels. I had acai bowl with gluten free granola. Acai was warm not frozen which was a plus.
MoreGreat food and nice people
Food is great here! the place can get crowded and could be bit cleaner- but overall great time!!
MoreVery good food, great coffee and pastries. Healthy choice and pleasant staff. Great location just across the number I, 2 and 3 trains, plus city buses as well. Outside seating in warm weather.
MoreGreat corner cafe with good coffee and a delicious egg and bacon croissant. It's a go to place for a lazy morning meal.
Moregood food and fast service and the staff is friendly
Great location filled with a lot of sunlight. Very rude staff. I ordered a chai latte which was the worst I have had after paying $5.
MoreA gem of a restaurant reminiscent of an neighborhood French bistro. Dishes are as beautiful as they are delicious. Friendly staff are a bonus.
MoreCute, really tiny cafe. Love their croissant sandwiches and paninis. A little pricy but it's the Upper West Side. They open the windows when it's nice out~
MoreThe staff here are very friendly and helpful. Wifi is not working for most of the time. Croissants are great, coffee is just regular standard.
MoreCute coffee and cafe place. Large windows and white walks make for a bright interior that I love. My wife found her frittata was a little dry. When we checked the server confirmed that it was made fresh today. My chicken panini was lovely with a nice little green salad on the side. Portion size was medium, which was perfect for us.
More-there are no outlets even though this is primarily used as a study space (JUST BEWARE)-my glass was chipped which is fine, however, my tea was upwards of $4 and it was regular tea so I thought I was paying for the ambience?
MoreOne of my favorite cafes in all of NYC!!! Coming from overseas, where the coffee is strong and delicious, I could never find that in NYC until I started coming here! Now I’m here everyday and the vibes are great, the food is delicious and above all the coffee is made by an incredible team of people who keep you wanting to come back for more! Stop in and you WON’T regret it!
MoreLoved the decor and simplicity of the ambiance. Great salads. Great coffee.
Lovely place with good food
Cozy and tasty, great place to work too
Friendly staff and delicious food. It has so much natural light, I love being here!
MoreGreat foods yet space is very very tight
Strangely expensive for what it is, but the food is always really good and higher quality than you would think, for what feels like just a coffee shop. Highly recommend the flash fried goat cheese bites for an appetizer, and the soup and salad dinner options. The avocado toast is inferior to most in the city (stale bread, not enough avocado smash on top).
MoreSmall cute place with great lattes and tea selection. Good for breakfast.
Great location, ambiance, scrumptious sandwiches, great tasting coffee, wonderful and quick service.
